Hong Kong Stuff

Okay, before you start answering, one thing you have to know about me - I'm a well known asshole on the other side of the border, and my comments for others tend to be very, very harsh. So be careful what you say...

Now, back on topic - where do you guys like to party more and why?

HK for me too, at least no drunk nasty old men grabbed my ass here :P LKF and Wan Chai have best places.
where do you party in SZ? am curious to know......
@ Sum Sum - true that, I was neither old nor drunk at the time.

@ Maggie - everywhere from Luohu to Shekou. Not so much in Futian (lack of good clubs) but I dine here a lot.
can you name some of the clubs name? detail addy? I do go to Futian more than LuoHu. its because i like the food variety. I went to Coco Park one time, its pretty cool over there as well. Me and my gf planning to go there this thursday again. We love hot n spicy food, as well as shopping...
@ Maggie - Cocopark is a good area for everything. You have the bar street if you want to have a drink and talk with friends, you have Lili Marleen and Viva Club if you want to dance a bit (opposite side of the street from Coco, right in front of Starbucks), you have Pupo Bar if you want enjoy live music and drinks, Angelo's and Focaccino if you like Italian, there's also a Sichuan restaurant if you want spicy food... other than Cocopark, I don't really go anywhere around Futian. Sometimes HQB (seafood) or Xiang Mi Hu (bbq) for dinners, or OCT Loft for a drink and some Chinese folk live music (but that is almost Nanshan). For parties (typical, Chinese-style Clubs) of course Babyface, Cash and Richy (a lot of HKers in both), Chocolate, LV8 (near King Glory Plaza) - all of them in Luohu. For some good live music: Jin Bar (if you like rock and metal music) or Terrace (pop), both in Shekou Seaworld, from which you can go upstairs to D-Club if you want to shake your ass to some club or latino music...
I went to CocoPark last thursday. i hear Lili Marleen playing lousy music? i didnt go in but i would like to check out other clubs next time if i go there. I tried Sichuan food close to coco park, i still prefer Hunan food more than Sichuan food though......but of course everything in SZ is a lot cheaper than HK:)

@ Maggie - well, if you want some really spicy food, you should try this chain of Hakka restaurants... I forgot the name, but I can check. After 15 minutes from starting your meal, you can eat practically anything - you stop feeling a God damn thing...

Lili Marleesn - people who say that are far and foremost those who didn't get the table :-P The place is always full and the music is like in any other place, so...
ok will check out that bar next time if i go to coco park area. anything going on during halloween in either hk or sz?

@ Maggie

No idea about HK, but in SZ there will be two fun parties with a lot of SZstuffers in the cocopark area: in La Casa and Viva Club (I suppose in Lili Marleen as well). I'm not sure if I can join, as the next day my exhibition in SZ starts and I need to be sharp, but being that I live 200m from cocopark maybe I will drop by for an hour or five :-P
