Hong Kong Stuff

Right across the border, your sister-page, Shenzhenstuff.com recently celebrated its 10k users party, and seems like pretty soon we will be celebrating 15k as well.

HKstuff, however, is a dead place. I know, I know, you guys have facebook, myspace and all that shit, but come on! This is the place for you and about you! A website whose maker you can actually meet, talk to and have a beer with. Forum individuals that will spit on you in the Forum, but will get you out of deep shit in reality. A place where you can meet your "other half" ...

So, come on! How do we make it better? What do YOU guys want this website to be?

Hey this place reminds me of SZstuff about two years ago.... HK certainly has the potential but can not compare to SZstuff yet.
Im in! Right now you may not see many people involved here, messaging, blogging or participating in any discussions but now that your here that will surely change.
I would suggest (dont know if its being done already) a gathering/Diner/night out/whatever. People will meet and become friends, naturally more people will join, then have more activities and so on.....
How about when you get back to these parts we can organize something? Perhaps even get some SZners to join
@ sum - well, we don't treat this website as a time-killer only, maybe with the exception of when we are at work. Far and foremost this is a great meeting place for people with similar interests (main of them being the YCGs). True that there's a lot of other entertainment here, and also HK is hardly a migrant city - most people here have friends, families etc (especially locals). But there is also a huge number of expats, at least some of whom will be by now bored with LKF or Wan Chai...

Come on, you're the marketing pro here - what would you have done to get a move on?
Moderator Power Please!!!

This site definitely has the potential.

Cheers!

i am in but ? many things are missing . We need support from David asiastuff
Hey I was 1 of the earliest here and tried posting events that were great deals and response was under 10 and about 5 actually bothered turning up to the event. Most responses are via facebook I must say.

Still, I'm happy to post events here as I come up with them ;) This place easily has potential.
well the problem is facebook is NOT banned in HOng Kong but banned in Shenzhen..... I'm doing my best too to come and visit here ;)
Okay, seems like the page has been unblocked here in SZ, maybe now I can really stir it up a bit.

Who wants to have a cross-border gathering?
I am with ya Kami my brother let's show these HK'ers how to piss on people. See if they are as sensitive as their brothers on this side of the tracks.
If I know them at all, they are much more sensitive. Hell, I'd be even afraid of some of us suing us... That is, if I was afraid of anything, after a year here :-P

Don't worry, unless your words are too defamatory or the other surfers are magnates. Litigation costs are expensive in HK. ^-^

Funny though. I was first introduced to xx stuff by a PRC chatter then here.
Actually, they can jump me. Server is hosted in the US, and I am in China :-P
