$1,500HKD to $4,000HKD puts you in the bottom end of rent in Hong Kong, this is considered pretty cheap and wont get you anything too nice.

I know some places in Sheung Shui, two bedroom for around $3,000HKD, not too far from the MTR. You want to be near a Church? Any Church you had your eye on? English or Chinese speaking? That said, there are many Church's not far from the train line.

I don't run a Church, just like networking other Christians together to help one another.

Hi Mark, what do you have in mind? Typically Hong Kong Island is the most expensive, then Kowloon area, then New Territories. That said, there are the cheaper parts of Hong Kong Island and the more expensive real-estate in New Territories. Are you looking for a place close to anywhere? Somewhere absolutely drop-dead-cheap?

Do you want a village house a little away from the MTR? A Village house a little closer to the MTR? An apartment close or further from the MTR? There are buses more or less everywhere also - so depends what you're looking for.

What is your budget?

I'm not pushing for any worldview, just asking if you want help finding a Church :P

Are you staying in Hong Kong long term?

well in your viewpoint you think people would have/ must have intentions other than worshipping God so they appear in church, wont you?

I do not have negative experience with church I had been in one church for over 4 years but my travelling extensively overseas resulted in my losing contact with them.

I feel like people now a day who show up very often in Church, well- familiar with passages in Bible and warmly receiving incomers. at times I run into some who are just strange guys.

No, but. But most people who are serious about being a Christian, if they don't go to Church, they are at least interested in being around some kind of 'family' of others who also believe to encourage them to keep reaching for God.

Have you had a negative experience with Church, or Church people before?
